We have a great history which is associated with the most respected, honourable Founder and Chairman Ln. Dr.S.PETER who was born in 1954 in Thirumayam, the state assembly constituency in Pudukottai. Hailing from a farmer background, he moved to Chennai where he made a humble beginning by taking up job in a cycle factory at Ambattur. He worked tirelessly involving himself in all kinds of work in the factory. But then, he found his desire to be deep-rooted in single thought of improving the life standard of deprived and under privileged people through education.
Hence he started exploring the sectors that came on his way. He took up the task of selling lands and in a short time, he attained success in real estate business. With this achievement, in 1997, he confidently set his foot in educational sector by establishing Madha Engineering College, the flag ship of Madha Group in 1998 under the registered Christian Minority Educational Trust christened “Soosiaya Peter Educational Trust” (SPET) in the name of his father. Following this, in 1999, he started another trust in the name of his mother- Loordhu Ammal Educational Trust (LAET). Today Madha Group is operating 15 institutions through its Christian Minority Educational Trusts with the vision of empowering people through education to build our nation strong and progressive in all fields.
